Accusations Against Him Ignored by the Federal Grand Jury. The Federal Grand Jury announced yes- terday that they had ignored the charge agalnst *Thomas D. of the Southern Pacific Company at the Valencia street station, charged with sweating gold coins. The evidence taken | before the jury was that Wakelee was an Incurable cancer of th face, and that the powerful narcotics ad- ministered to him by physiclans caused him to become mentally deranged to an extent so great as to necessitate his dis- charge from the service of the company. and he was placed in an asylum for the insane. On being released from the asy- lum he was reinstated in his former em- ployment, for he had been In_the service of the company for twenty-five years. e Thomas Bell's Estate. A statement showing the present con- dition of the estate of the late Thomas Bell was flled yesterday by the executor of the decedent’s last will. According to the statement the executor has $210 76 in cash on hand.
