December opened at $1617%: the next sale was at $1 6133: two or three more sales, and $1 60 was the ruling price. Then it went down to $159 amid the roar of brokers who were trying to unlogd their cus- tomers’ long wheat; $159 seemed t0o high and another snot was taken at the moon. 'l histime $1 5835 was reached. This price found buying orders and a quick rally to $1593 was made. Then Chicago showed an sdvance of 2 cents. The crowd thought that $16) was not too high.
