From the bottom of the shaft we have started A west crosscut, and it is now in 12 feet in soft porphyry. 650 level—The north- west_crosscut ‘has been extended 7 feet; total length, 455 feet. This crosscut has now reached the footwall, and we have started a drift norih along the wall. The drift is now in 12 feet in quartz, clay and porphyry, the quartz ghowing some value. The southeast d:ift from northwest crosscut is in 128 feet: exiended 18 feet anring the week through Jow-grade ore: total length, 146 feet. 750 level—The west crosscut has been ex- eaded 21 feet, total length 293 feet, and con- tinues in hard porohyry.
