Ward has gained a divorce from James M. Ward, the actor, on ac- count of the latter's extreme cruelty, Judge Troutt granting the decree. The case was defaulted. 3 In Judge Troutt's court Mrs. Sadie Mc- Donald is the plaintiff in a divorce suit acainst Miles McDonald, a wealthy ranch- man of Petaluma. The charge against the husband is willful neglect. Lottie B. Lane has been divorced from John H. Lane on the ground of cruelty. There was no contest. Mrs. Lane is awarded $15 a month alimony and the custody of a minor child. Anne C. McLellan of 618 Eddy has an action for divorce pending in Judge Troutt’s court against David S. McLellan, amerchant of San Jose. She charges her husband with cruelty A decree of divorce has been granted to the plaintiff in the divorce case of Adele Burns against Frank Burns, the latter making no defense to the charge of willful desertion. arah J.
