A sort of serio-comic affair is reported from the south side. It appears that a mother and her married daughter, who re- side in the same house, gave birth to baby boys at almost the same time. This was so unusual a coincidence that the neigh- bors were soon apprised and naturally flocked in to see the new arrivals, says the Fort Howard Review. The two youngsters were left in a bed by themselves and shortly afterward passed about from hand to hand by the visiting neighbors. Their weight was, of course, Jearned, and it developed that both were of stnrdv avoirdupois. After having sat- isfied the curiosity of the visitors, the babies were returned to the bed, when sud- denly there was the wailing and gnashin of teeth, for in the confusion the boys ha become mixed, and there was no tellin which was which. They look alike, are of equal size and color, and probably they will have to go through life without being certain a8 to which is the uncle and which is the nephew. ernon, east 50 by | .50 | Omha G W Groom & wf, Dnvlle | SAN FRANCISCO “CALL.” BUSINESS OFFICE of the San Franclsco CALI— 710 Market street, open until 12 o'clock every night in the year.
