Internal Reyenue Employes Be Taking Inventories Today and Collecting Additional Tax Monday night at 12 o'clock the new national revenue law went into effect on tobace cigars and beer, and the internal revenue ployes in this revenue district have hbegunjtaking inventories of the stocks of beer, cigars, cigarettes, snuff and manufactured tobacco which the dealers and manufacturers have on hand, collecting the increased tax The increase on beer is $1 per barrel of not more than thirty-one lons, and ata like rate for any other quantity or fractional part of a bar- rel, with a discount of 7's per cent on all sizes by collectors to brewers of the stamps provided for the pay- ment of the tax.
