He bas been employed at the Flournoy warehouse, in course of construction at Ninth and Harrison streets, and bis chest was so much stronger than the other chests that several other carpenters had been depositing their tools in it for safe- keeping at night. Last night some one broke the double lock and stole a large quantity of the tools, Mr. Wallace alone lost about $10 worth, and it is not known how much the others lost, This morning Officers Harlan and Jones found some of the stolen too! They had been sold to Frank La rence and Dick Clark. Thomas Will- jams, colered, was identified as the one who sold the tools, but he denies selling them. He lives at 921 North Ninth street, and was locked up for grand larceny. Finger Painfully Cut.
