The United States Civil Service Commission announces that on Jai uary 8, 1898, an examination wili be held at Paducab, Ky., for the posi- tion of janitor, From the register established as the result of this ex- amination a selection will be made from eligibles residing in the vicinity to filla vacancy in the position of jauitor in the federal building at P: ducah, Ky., at a salary of $600 annum. The examination will consist of a light educational test. Persons desiring to enter this ex- amination should apply to the Secre- tary of the Board of Examiners at the postoflice at Paducah, Ky., for application blanks, form 804, which should be properly executed and promptly forwarded to the Commis sion.
