FATAL EPILEPSY Mary Adams Falls Into Grate With Her Baby, Neck and Face Burned to a Crisp Child May Die. ary Adams, colored, wife of an employe of Little’s spoke factory, fell into the grate lute yesterday af- ternoon while in an epileptic fit, and as a result is dead, Her left hand was burned entirely off, her neck was burned almost in two, and her features were buraed into a crisp until they were un- recognizable. She held an in- fant in her arms when the attack came, and its left hand was so badly burned that it will’ have to be amputated. Dr. R. R. Winston was called,and did all he could to relieve the mother and child of their terrible agony. He did not expect the former to live until noon. She lived on “Dry River Front,” near Eleventh and Jones, and had been a viclim of the dread malady, which cost her her life, for some time. MRS. B. t.
