All Records Broken BurroughsMachines were 2521501d in Decenibet, 1969, which was more than any other adding machine company sold in the entire year of 1909. All previous Burroughs records for one month’s sales were beaten by 457 machines. In all 15,763 Burroughs Machines were sold during the year ending December 31, 1909. Previous Burroughs records for a single year were broken by 1617 machines. The sales of this Company for 1909 were more than the combined sales of all other adding and listing machine companies for any three years of adding machine history. During 1909 more Burroughs machines were sold outside of the United States than were sold in the same territory by all other adding and listing machine companies during the six years from 1903 to 1909 inclusive. These records didn’t happen. They show that more and more the up-to-date business men everywhere in the world, are waking up to the fact that there is not a business of any description where figures are handled which is not losing money every day it does without a Burroughs Adding and Listing Machine---losing enough money in the aggregate to pay for a Burroughs many times over. These Records Mean Something to You Drop us a card, and we will be glad to have our repre- sentative call upon you--without cost or the slighest obliga- tion on your part, and show you how to make more money by saving time in your office work.
