It seemed like a Saturday in the yards. At the same time there was a very heavy fall of snow all the morning, making the catle hardly presentable 1o a buyer. The result was that no one was out very early and there was really not enough business doing to call it a market. The receipts this week have been decidedly lighter than lust, but plenty largo enough for the week before a holiday. The better grades of cattle, both beef sicers and cow stuff, have shown some improvement, and at the close of the week are around 10 20¢ higher than one week ago. The best grades of feeders have also shown some improvement and they are quite @ littie higher than one week ago.
