The record of attendance will | be broken, as it already exceeds the total attendance last year by 2 per cent. This means buying has been heavy at the wholesalo houses in almost all lines | and the record of the secrataty shows cus- tomers, have been coming to Omaha from points further distant than In the past. From points along the lincs of the Bur- iington and Northwestern In Wyoming a large number of merchants have attended. These show up as the Omaha wholesalers retund railroad fares, and it is not an un- usual thing for the wholesalers to pay $35 (o $46 raiiroad fare for customers from Wyoming who buy houses while vislting the ety While the buying has heavy, the Baster trade wlll begin shortly with re- tailers. One mere pull—thirty days long—-will be made by the membership committee of the Commereial club to secure the 1,000 mem- bers at which the organization has been aiming. It is signed by Presi- dent Euclld Martin; Edgar Allen, chairman of the executive committee; W. R. Wood, secretary, and B. A, Hinrichs, chairman of the membership committee. Among other things the officers and com- mittee put it this way to the members: “Do you realize that the business or pro- fessional man who is a neighbor of yours derives as much benefit from the club as you de, but contributes nothing to its sup- port financlally or otherwise?
