The de- fendants deny that the granting of the use of certain streets would work firre- trieyable injury to the protesting free- holders. A dismissal of the suit at plain- tfr's cost is asked. The hit made by “The Country Girl" in London, New York and other metropolitan centers has been repeated in Omaha. This latest of the “girl” series of mysical come- dies is well worthy the attention it has re- celved from its managers and the patron- age the public hae bestowed upon it. Its catchy songs, sprightly music, pretty cos- tumes and the capable company that is presenting it make up one of the best at- tractions the Boyd has to offer this season. It ‘will be repeated this evening and on tomorrow & matinee and evening perform- ance will be given. Hoyt's “A Bunch of Keys" will be the following aftraction, with two perform- ances on Sunday. The attraction at the Krug theater tonight and tomorrow afternoon and night will be ,the pecullar comedlan, W. B. Patton, in the beautiful pastoral play “The Minister's Son.” This is & new attraction for the Omaha public, but it has been a great suc- cess in the eastern cities for two seasons, For the matinee Saturday the Krug theater popular price of 2 cents for the best sats will prevall. George Westerdahl, the Omiha boy, will be a special feature of the bill at the Or- pheum tonight. This is his first prof nal appearance and he should make & “go” of it. He will make application for an engagement around the Orpheum cir- cult. Mr. Westerdahl has lived in this city all his life, and for the past dozen years he has been employed at the trans- fer station between here and Council Blufts.
