D., Oct, 4.~(Special.) —The discussion as to whether or not Mrs, | Roland B. Molinenx was actually granted | a South Pakota divorce a few weeks ago |1s discussed with keen interest by the | people of Bloux Falls, where she resided during her ten months' stay In South Da- kota. The original reports that she was granted a divorce were based purely upon the claims of her attorneys. They have now refterated the claim, but beyond stat- ing that & divorce was granted her and that she was given the right to resume her maiden name, they decline to give the name of the circuit judge who Is alleged | to have granted the decree or furnish any other evidence whate: in support of their statement that she was really granied a divorce. In view of this and the further fagt that every circuit judge in the state was affare that she had In reality invalidated her residence in the city and state by publicly announcing scon after her arrival thyt she had come to South Dakota for a divoree, that a decree was actually granted her naturally is shrouded in considerable doubt. Under the South Dakots statutes a clerk of courts or other court ofcial violates his oath of office if he attempts to suppress the papers in divoree cuses, which are supposed to be public records after a decree is granted. And yet, not- withstanding that diligent inquiry has been made, not even a scratch of & pes has besn produced to show that the alleged divorce was granted to Mrs. Molineux as claimed, —_— If it's & “'Garland,” that's al! you need know about & stove or range.
