With the exception of the police, library, health, park and street cleaning and repair funds, Rthe ordinary revenues, were exhausted with the payment of August salaries. The library and park funds, reduced " about one-fifth, like all other funds, because of the rallway tax litigation, have been managed 5o that they will run through the yea. The police fund will be emptied, practically, after the Scptember wages are Pald. The health fund may get through Lawithout an overlap, but this will be hardly possible with the strect cleaning and repair nds. The number of employes who are protected is only a small proportion of the total on the eity pay roll.
