The steady growth and expansion of Omsha's commercial snd {ndustrial in- terests recéives another impetus in the manufactory on Harney street. It is the Western Bar Fix- tures and Hotel Supply Manufacturing company, to be owned and operated by John Hochstrasser and Herman Kunde. The place of business will be the four- story building at 1407 Harney street. The concern will be in operation Octeber 1. This firm will manufacture all kinds of saloon and hotel fixtures and furniture, and will start up with a force of about fifteen men, with some three or four representa~ tives on the road, Both gentlemen are old residents and business factors in Omaha. Mr. Hochstrasser became identified with the city in 1573 and Mr. Kunde five years later. Both have for some time been en- gaged in the business of selling the line of goods which they now will manufacture, 50 that they do not enter the business as total strangers to it. Messrs. Hochstras- ser and Kunde have returned recently from Chicago where they made their purchases of machinery with which to equip their plant. This machinery is now being in- stalled. l‘."
