The above resolution was unanimously adopted by the Real Estate exchange at its regular meeting’ yesterday. A. P. Tukey in. troduced the measure and it was acted on after a short discussion, in which the senti- ment expressed was that the council should at least give the people an opportunity to vote for or against the Rosewater proposi- tion, A letter was recelved from a citizen of Plattsmouth requesting facts and figures relating to raflroad taxation in Nebraska. The communication was referred to the tax committee for answer. The matter of securing another meeting place was left with the executive commit- tee, with a decided preference expressed for the Commercial club room. The state oficers of Post A of the Travel- er's Protective assoclation received a tele- gram yesterday from two of the grand officers, General Manager Burrows and National Director Crandall of St. Louis, ying that they would arrive in Omaha on Friday morning and remain for several days.
