Harte, the contractor, on the new building for the telephone company adjoining its present building at Bightenth and Douglas streets. The new bullding will be 66x66 feet, three storles and basement. In geperal design it will rosemble the appearance of the pres- ent bullding, the material, buff brick and terra cotta, and the workmanship being identical. It will be of fireproot comstruc- tion and the contractor hopes to have it completed by June, at which time the com- pany will begin the installation of its new system of telephons The third floor of the new building will be devoted entirely to the switchboards of the new system.
