TWENTY-EICHT TO NINETEEN Nice Old-Fashioned Score Rolled Up at Gharles Btreet Park Yesterday, OMAHA HAD THE LONG END OF IT T0O Grandpa's Pitchors Given i Sultry Welcome Which Was Soothed to Some fixtent by Louls Valsz’ Effervescent Geuors osity at the Ends aha, 2; Des Moines, 19 4 , 24; St. Joseph, 10, 12; Rockford, b, cksonville, 9. Paul, 14; Toledo, 3. y, 9; twalve A nice crowd welcomed the Omahas back home again yesterday, and in honor of the ovation they turned ‘round and gave Grand- pa TrafMley's crowd an everlasting beating. The sweets of victory, however, were some- what embittered by the laggy and long- drawn-out contest. It only lasted two hours and a half, and that is a little too much of & good thing. The Oma however, played superb ball, making but two errors and knocking out twenty-six hits and twen- ty-elght runs, while on the other side the Des Moines lads made but seventeen hits and nineteen runs and six crrors. One of Omaha’s errors was excusable, that of Pietro O'Brien’s, the Grasshopper running Into and causing him to muff a high pop-up off Mohler's bat. Captain Hutchinson played a grand game, aceepting elght chances without the least sign of an error and cracking out an even half dozen safe hits out of seven times at the bat and scoring five runs. One of his hits was a_home run and two of them two- baggers. O'Brien, Lohman, Pace and Miles also Aid yeoman service with the stick, and Shaffer and Ulrich some masterly fielding. Letcher and McVicker did the big hitting for the Prohibitionists, and Kid Mohler and Grandpa himself did the artistic fielding. Loufs Napoleon Denger was tried on the um- pire’s position, and while he did fairly well he_evinced too much indecision and timidity to ever make a first-class handler of the indicator. The same teams will try It again this afternoon. Score. OMAHA. ab. r. bh. sh. b, po. a. e. Ulrich 3b. No New Cases Will Be Taken for Treatment After Saturday, June 8th. So startling, strange and unfathomable have been the cures effected by the Human Magnets the past week (of cases hitherto supposed to be hopeless and incurable) that the public of Omaba and vicinity Is falrly wild with enthusiastic bewilderment. But one and all and the incredulous—all admit that they certainly do cure. ‘The blind do see, the deaf do hear, the cripples throw away their canes and crutches, and nearly all other chronie allments in the category of disease take on renewed hope and lease of life after a treatment by the wonderful magnetists, who have accomplished such marvelous re- sults that the world stands aghast at their power over disease. the doubtful, the skeptic And still the God-like work of healing aficted humanity goes bravely on. Day after day crowds of the most prominent and influcntial citizens of this entire state may be seen in the parlors of these two magnetic bealers at the Paxton hotel.
