Japaness papers publish a telegram from Seoul, dated July 27, stating that the Japan- eso minister urged the Corean government to drive the Chinese soldlers from Yashan by force if it really wished to demonstrate that it was an independent state. If Corea then it had decelved Japan in declaring itself an independent state.
