Olson says he will file a complaint against Otto Maurer this morning, charging him with passing a counterfeit dollar on him. Olson says he went into Maurer's place, and after buying a round of drinks, gave the proprietor a five-dollar bill and se- cured his change. When he stepped to the door he met more friends, and inviting them in, ordered up the drinks for the party. When he settled he gave Maurer one of the silver dollars ho had just received from him in change, but Maurer refused to take it, stating that it was lead. Olson became angry and threatened to have Maurer ar- rested if he didn’t make the coin good. Maurer then got stubborn and refused to make the money good. Olson consuited a lawyer and declares that he will prosecuts the case. Maurer says that Olson stopped outside his door after gotting the bill changed, and that he had no counterfoit money in the house.
