In conversation with a well known farmer of northern Nebraska the other it was incidentally learned that his success was due toa good move made by him several years ago when he lefta reuted farm in an eastern state and came to Nebraska with a determination to get afarm of his own, This” he succeeded in doing in the northern portion of the state at o very low price per acre, and by caveful meéthods Lie has accumulated w property which yields him a comforta- ble income. His example has been followed by many of his eastern friends and all a pleased with the success met with on Nebraska farms. Ho further stated that there was still much cheap deeded land for sale along the line of the Fremont, Alkhorn & Missouri Valley railroad, and considerable free government land butary to tho land offices located at Neligh, 11, Valentine and Chadvon, Neb., on the same road. Experience i the best teacher and with sneh examples before bim, any farmer who means busi- ness cannot make a mistake by follow- ing this man’s cxample. One can pro- cure absolute ownership to a good farm there for what it costs to rent a farm in 1linois or lowa for about two years. Before selecting a location, write J: It. Irs. Wright ws not disposed with her valuables without a struggle. She was a ne oman, and breaking away from the thief she started to run down stairs and alarm the neighbors.
