Rothrock of this city, de rtment commanc of the Women's Relief congs of Towa, has issued circular let- ter No. 3 in regard to the dedication of the soldiers’ cottages at the home at Marshalltow T cottages, ten in number, were crected with an appro priation made by the lust legislature, and have been furnished by the Women's Relief corps of the state These cottages will be formally opencd February 8, and the Women's Relief corps will conduct the dedicatory exereises. Mrs. Rothrock, in her civeular letter among other things, calls m to the need of more cottages at the home, and calls upon the m bers of the organization to work with the next legisla ture to sccure a suficient appropriation to build a comfortable dormitory for the 300 dependent soldiers' wives, and for the er is a cook on the river.
