The south side of Le=avenworth street has been repaved and the north side to a point as far east as Twenty-fifth avenue. The con tractor, Hugh Murphy, states that tne street will bo completed within tweuty days, weather permitting. The same contractor, who nas the contract on Twenty-second street, from Leavenworth to the government corral, has finished the curbing ana_ yeste day commenced laying the rod Colorado stone pavement. Tho paving of this streat will be completed next weelk. Lowe avenue, from Iarnam to Cuming streets, has been curbed and the asphalt is being laid by the Barver company, At the ofice of the Board of Public Works the idea prevails tnat if pieasant weather continues for thirty days all or nearly ail of the paving and curbing contracts awarded this season will be completed.
