Haney, who reside at 1105 Avenue A, hoard some ono runniug past their home. Mr. Haney got up to sece what was the matter and arrived at the door just in time to see two men throw A bundle iuto the weeds in the yard and run away. Yesterday morning ho investigated and found the buudle lying where they had thrown it. It turned out to b ckige of valuablo papers, some of L wero letters, and others deeds, mort- guges, ete. The papers were ovidently the property of Phil Davis of Owaha, claim agont for the ‘Fremont & Elkhorn’ Valley railroad. They wero brought to Tux Ber office, where they await the owner.
