Rapidly Pushing the Work ot Organ- fzation and Preparing Exhibits to Send Through the East, Genoral Socretary Hodkins of the Ne- braska State Business Men's association is in recoipt of many encouraging reports from various poirts in the stato concerning the train which will be sent through the east to advertise Nobraska. Tho train idea was conceived by Mr. Hodkins, and his society has taken hold of it with a vigor that has alroady insurod its success, The following county reports have been prepared from the corrospondence on the subject roceived by the general secrotary : Antelope county writes for information aud says it proposes to do its part. Adams county reports that it will fall in line and expects to furnish a good deal of extra advertising matter, Buffalo county is to tho front as usual with all_enterprises. 'Tho local branch is co-oper- ating with the Real Estate oxchange of Kear- ney and proposes to raiso §275 for advertising matter. The smaller towns in the county are are all taking hold of the matter ana will co- operate with the county seat as ail counties should do, Butler county, with David City in the center, und _nearly all tho towns organized, expects to be able to help, and has got up steam already. They expectto show that Butler county is the conter of attraction, and jocated in a good section of the state. Let every county remember that the main object of this advertising train is to show Nebraska in_her true light and provo that it isas1t should be, the greatest agricultural state in the union. Boone county will respond with its propor- tionate amount toward tho fund for expenses of the advertising train of Nebraska pro- ducts. So writes Loran Clark, president of tho Albioa local branch. Auother county is added to the list. If anyone doubts that the advertising train is gong to start he would better read over the list of counties reported. Frontier county says: “Are we in it “The Cartis Courier comes out with blazing head lines stating that Frontier county will cortainly bo in it. They havo called a meet- ing to be hela in Curtis Saturday, August 20, at 2 p. m., to consider the project.
