A few days ago suits were commenced by three children against each of the three school directors, for £25 dumages, forseach week of in which the board had failed to provide a place for holding school. In this, way fifty-four suits were piled up. She has a very sweet voice, which she uses well. Miss , who nias been scen in Omaha a number of times, is delightfully cast part of Fanny. Injured— Cixcrysati, O, July 25.—Nows has been received at this ofice from Hamilton of a col- lision of trains at Middletown, attended by ious loss of life, The Dayton cash regis- ter company gave their employoes ana the friends of their employes a picnic ex cursion to Woodsdale, LY resort on the Miami river avout four milos north of Hamilton and about thirty miles from Dayton. Tho excursionists went by railrond train on the Cin cinnati, Hamilton & Dayon. The excursionists tilled all the cars of a very long train and spent the day at Woodsdale, Tuey were mostly young people, composed of about equal numbers of men and women, with a few ehildren . It was after 9 o'clock tonight when the long train with its lond of hapoy occupants started to return to Dayton. It was a little after 10 o'clock when tho train stopped at Middlstown to let off the excursionists who stopped there. This was twenty mile of Duyton. The idea is to form a groat tal pool between the Vanderbilts and those roads to work azamst the Gould and other Amevican roads, with terminals at New York, Boston, Portland and Halifax, and a line of transatiantic steamers in_ connection thevewith.
