M. Turner agunst R. K. Belgum, A. R. Wells and James Coyle. They allege that the places which they are accused of main- taining as saloons are 1 by injunctions which were obtained by A. Overton, and they assert that all other like actions are barred. This scheme is not & new one, it having been tried on b of the de- fondunts i the liquor suits. In fact, itis so far from new that Atjorney Beabrook has become rather disgusted at its frequent appearance. Ho now states that he will bring a caiminal prosecution ngainst all the defendants who put in this plea in abatement, charging them with contempt, Ho reasons that if these saloonkeepers aro undor injunction, and are still keeping open their saloons, it necessarily follows that they are dlsobeying the mandates of the court and while he bas no desire to enforce any of Overton's injunctions, he will do so in case they continue to use them as shiclds agaiust the prosecutior of the present stits, —_— Wall Paper, Ete.
