Several liquor injunction suits wero dis- missed in distriet court last week at the re quest of Jacob Sims, the prosecuting attor- ney. It had been whispered on the sly that Messrs, Sims & Suunders were becoming tired of the business in which they had been engaged in so long, and some curiosity was felt as to whether the meaning of this dis- missal was that as far as Messrs, Sims & Saunders were concernoed, the saloonkeeners of Council Blufts would be allowed to keep open with even more freedom than before. Mr, Saunders is the authority for the state- ment that it is the intention of himself and partuer to get rid of all that kind of business that they now have on the string, -and when that is done, they do ot wntend to do any- thing more in that line.
