President Martin of the board of trade has appointed o committee to examine the tin mines at Nigger Hill, about ten miles from Speartish, Dak., and to report on the same to the board at its next mecting. There is a great deal of iuterest displayed in these mines and the feasibility of establishing works in this city for tho purposo of reducing the ore has_already been discussed. One prominent capitalists has told cortain members of the committee that he would be willing, if the ro- port proved favorable, to invest money in the ereetion of works of the kind contemplated.
