Only a few weeks ago Peter Woodmansee, proprietor of the Exposition saloon, at Fif- teentl and Capitol avenue, led to the altar a charming young bride, whose name was Jon- nie Hade, For a month the conplo was as happy and contented as two turtle doves. Then there came a change. Mrs. Woodmansce, who had previously been a waiter girl in a res- taurant, hecame aristocratic in her tastes, She was dissatisfied with the flat in which sho and her husband wers living and desired to move into a private residence. Their rooms were in the same block in which Mr., Woodmansee conducts his business, The husband remonstrated and told his wife that, in tho spring, they would move out and for a few days afterwards the bride was apparently contented with her home. But it was only a few days. T'wo weeks ago Woodmansee was lato in calling for his wife to go to Junch. In fact, it is suid, e was in his saloon below shaking dice with friends, His wifo sent for him three times and then called for him herself. He accompanied her to their room instanter. Woodmansee endeavored to explain that Lis delay was purely a matter of business. The apology, however, was not accepted. Mrs, Woodnisnsee had packed her trunk and asserted that she was going buck 10 her home in Iowa and would never live with him again, Mrs., Woodmansee then left her husband and remained with friends on Ninoteenth strect, in the rear of the Swedish Lutheran church, until iast ‘Ihursday n she went to her home in Kekhart, Ta., where her par- ents reside.
