R, Jones Fatally Injured in the Union Pacifioc Yards, A sorious accident ocourred inthe Union Pacific yards ut the Thirteenth street via- duet Wednesday evening in which W. R Jones, aswitchmen, met with probably fatal injuries, Several cars were derailed and more or lees damaged. Engineer Wilkins, Yard Foreman Koud son ana Jones were engaged in arranging cars on the elevator track. The engine was coupled to a car without brakes, and the switchman informed the engineer thit, being this was th he would have to back it in_coupled with the engine, could not be ntherwise controlled. He informed the yard foreman and encineer that there wera cars on a side track which wore 1o close, ana_that they oughtto be set back.
