THE OMAHA DAILY BEE 'l‘l'l"\‘l))\\.'. JANUARY 22, 18890, One of the peculiar features of Omaha noted by strangers, is the absence of a district devoted exclusively to first class residences. We do not mean by “first class residences,” the homes of only the wealthy, but include those of lesser means desirous of a comfortable house, with pleasant surroundings. The owners of Dundee Place, fully realizing this fact, purchased the beautiful Western Highlands, adjoining the city, which were once known as the famous Patrick Farm, and during the past six months have been making vast improve- ments at an enormous expense, having put the streetsto an established grade and made provisions for proper drainage. A number of fine houses have been built, and many more will be started in the early spring. The natural lay of this beau- tiful tract of land, being high and commanding a magnificent view.is well known to most people in Omaha, and its desirability for homes, is a fact that has always been acknowledged. The ground is sold with such restrictions as will enhance the value of one's own site and each owner protects his neighbor. No business will be allowed except on two streets, Dodge and Underwood avenue. No house costing less than $2,500 can be built. No saloons or nuisances will ever be permitted within the limits of Dundee Place. The Patrick Land Company are now prepared to make building loans of from $2,500 to $10,000 for those who desire to build and have not sufficient money to spare from their business or other investments. The best ground can be selected NOW at the lowest prices, and arrangements made for building early the coming season. Our terms on the lots are ve ry easy. Call at our office for further particulars. Our salesmen are always ready to show the property. The PATRICK LAND COMPANY SOLE OWNERS OF DUNDEE PLACE, Room 25, Chamber of Commerce. W. H. GRAIG, President. N. D. ALLEN, Vice President. W. K.
