Domestic market news was generally bullish. That from the Northwest was especially so; in- deed the Northwest was the principal lever under the market. One of the first bits of news set afloat was the anuouncewment that receipts at 242 country elevators in Minne- #ota and Dakota sggrcgated only 31,000 bush- els yesterday. For several days farmers’ de- liveries of spring wheat have been falling off but, this 18 the sharpest breuk yet and s commonly ucccpted as indicative of & decided and speedy falling off in_receipts at_ Duluth and Minne- apolis. Receipts at winter wheat centresare also letting down in_a marked dcgree, and there is a promise of & continuance of the light movement, although in Michigan_the rain seems to be freely in motion. This alling off in the movewent frowm first hands does not meun necessarily that thero is no wheat in the country, but it shows that tho flush of forced delivery which usually ox- tends through the first quarter or third of acrop year is over, both as regards spring and winter wheat and the same is said to bo true of European deliveries.
