The four engaged on the truss work on the out side were only slightly bruised, as the boards had their fall broken by a pile of lumber a few fect east of the wall. ~ BBut of the four who were engaged in siding the structure and wer nearly twenty feet from the ground at the time of the accident, threeof them were dreagged out of the debris insensi ble. They recovered consciousness, how ever, and were proparly cared for. Their names are J. C. Arnold, Alexander McBir. ney and Henry Orson.’ Arnold was badly cut over the eye and the blood was oozing from half a dozen cuts on his scalp. His logs were so badly bruised that he could not waik. Orson ‘was also badly cut over the face and his right ankle so badly squeczed that it will be some days before he can walk. McHirney 18 probably fatally injured. When the str > gave way ho wus hurled from the which was standing and fell on a pile of Tt ber. The wall fell on top of him, crushin; him. His injuries arc all internal, and ther is a hemorrhiage from the lungs which the physicians consider dangerous. Chris Nelson was near the top of the wall, and when b felt the structure giving way he had th presence of mind to hurriedly” crawl througn a window and ride down on the falling mass, instead of being crushed under it. Ho was only slightly jarred and sbaken up. The accident is due to of proper bracing, and Thursday the workmen noticed the structure tottering in the wind and re marked its danger. Yesterday some per son removed one or two of the braces on the outside, and while a strong wind was blow ing the whole structure feil Had a bilious attack and one of those indeseribable cases of constant wears ness.
