The bullets took effect in_the head, thigh and ankle but were ony flesh wounds. Flynn is grading a road near Irvington and had camped ou Hibbard's Gun, farm. The landlord ordered the con to vacate aud he refused to do so. Hibbard went to the house for his shot gun and re- turning aimed at Flynn. The gun hung fire and Flynn then drew his revolver and began shooting. Hibbard was carried home where he was cared for by his family. Army. Quite a number of saloon keepers, are sub- mitting to the inevitable, and Clerk Hoctor is kept busy filling up the necossary blanks. Councilman Rafferty was the first to put up the &I75.00 necessary for the balance of the year, and he was quickly followed by Tom Rock, Frank Glass, Henry Beal, J. 8. Mul- lin, B.
