Secretary Laws to-day received articles in- eorporating the Sand Rock Gold Mining coms pany, which were duly filed, covering prop- erty described as follows: The Big Sand Jack, No. 1, as recorded in the mining records office at Bear City, Ark., of the Bear mountain mining district, in Montgomery county, record book I, page 73, and the mining claim known as I Sand Jack, No, 9, of the same book, page 4, and 8150 the Shoo Fly claim, recorded on page 75, nll situated in section 15, township 2, range 22, county and state above stated. ho object of this company is to procure mineral lands from the United states gov- crnment under the mining laws, and to at- fend to the buving and sclling of mining lands either by claim or deed; the erection of buildinge and machinery on mining lands; the buying and selling of mining machinery and aparatus; the working and operating of mines in the state of Arkansas for their min- eral production and profit; the buying and soiling of roal estate other than mineral lands, and the maintenance of all buildings and offices nocessary to carry on successfully the business of the corporate compan Tho priveipal place of business 1s placed at Riverton, Franklin county, Nebraska, but authority is delegated to the board of direc- tors to establish such other places of busi- ness as may be deemed necessary from time 1o time. The capital stock of the company is fixed at at §5,000,000, two thousand of which must be subeeribed and paid before business can be commenced.
