Yesterday the Anheuser-Busch Brow- ing company ‘»m(:ur\-ll a permit to build their proposed new building on Thi teenth and Jones. The building is to be of brick, three stories high, and will cost #40,000. Yesterday on complaint of Soren T. Peterson, John Ellis was arrested for disposing of mortgaged property, con- gisting of two cows. The defendant is a poor colored man. His trial is fixed for April 10 before Justice Wade. J. Levin, manager of the Western Uhion telegraph company, was arrested yesterday afternoon by Officer Pulaski on the charge of committing a nuisance by throwing the refuse paper tape of the office in the neighboring alley.
