The receipts of cattle were moderate and made up chicfly of common stock. There \m‘l't'nh'\\‘ loads of fair native steers, but nearly half the receipts were western hay-fed stock, whicn were shipped to Chicago. The bulk of the sales wade on this market were common stock. Hog The receipts were light. ‘The market opened ad fully 15 cents lower on the best grades. The “Anglo,”’ however, began buying about 10 o'clock and prices stiffened upa little and on the whole was not more than 10 cents lower than on Friday. The quality of hogs received was 1ot as good us on the day previous, there being considerabie light stufl among the offerings. The receipts were 112 head. and the market 88 usual was dull.
