Cm1caGo, April 5--[Special Telegram to the Bee)—Catrie—Certain kinds of de- sirable light ana medium welghts that had fat and good quality sold very readily at 5@ 10¢ advance, but as a rule the market was not quotably higher, and trade was certainly not active, There were some rough, fat cattle weighing about 1,400 pounds, for which there was literally no demand, and which had to be sold after very hard work at a sacrifice. Tho receipts were heavier than yesterday by 00 head. The market opened at about steady prices and a few loads were sold on that basls. ‘The aemand was light and the market declined almost immediately and closed 10¢ lower.
