He has a claim of twenty acres him- self, Besides the squatters from Council Bluffs there are about a third as many residents of Omaha, In all, some thirty odd have claims that are stuked off. Some seven or eight buildings are in progress of ercction, besides the founda- tions of other houses that are laid on cach twenty acres. These are all good substantial dwellings. All the right that Tower and Smith can possibly have is an_easement, or the right to pass over our land to the river.' L. Forman, on Broadway, corner of Second street. In the building at the time of the at- tempt three young men were sleeping up stai but were not awakened by the would-be burglars, The discovery was made by these young men yesterday morning; they found a hole out si inches square'ent in a rear door in the pment, opening on the nortn side of building. A drill had been used to make the holes, after which the viece was sawed out, but as there were three bolts on the door thie thieves could not reach them all. The outside of the door showed how hard they tried to pry it open with a jimmy, but the door being & strong one could not be forced. TAMMANY HALL ROBBED.
