The Saloon Injunction Cases Will Hang Until Tuesday—Enter- tainments and Per- sonals, Another Week of Boom, The week closes with a healthier condi- tion in the real estate market, Those in- terested in the business have been able the past week to close their offices at a reasonable hour, instead of keeping the lights burning until the small hours. There have been more legitimate and real sales made during the past week than in any previous week in the history of Coun- cil Bluffs. There has been less buying of options, less transferring of contracts for deeds, less of the froth and more of the real. The actual business has been ‘irl , and steadily growing, but men with more judgment and coolness In the opening furore it seemed that por chasers were so wild that they did_not care for titles or for size of lots. They were reselling before time had passed suflicient for the making ont of a de :I and lots were sold eral times in a ¢ They now realize that the boom is here to stay, and that there is time enough to have the business attended to properly. Much trouble and misunderstandings are thus avouded ‘I'he week has been a busy one. The streets b shown an activity not seen here even in the' rush of holiday trade. Every day sees many strangers here, men with money, none of whom depart with- out investing more or less. One New York man who was here in_the opening of the boom, and who then invested in a fow lots, sold them so quickly and atsuch a round profit_ that he has returned, bringing with him £20,000. He uqmum picking up what he considers and will doubtless reap ¢ perhaps not making so quic his first venture. Another characteristie of the week has been the turnmg of attention to inside property somewhat, which had been ignored in the excited seramble after the suburbs and the unimproved lots, Inside property has advanced, but it is still v ow, and shrewd investors sce gr chances for money-muaking, althongh it more capital to handie it. erday T.
