The district court did little yesterday. A motion for a new trial in the case of Call vs. the Council Bluffs wire nail com- pany was argued and takea under ad visement. A number of petitions were filed yes- terday tor the removal of saloon injune- tion cases to the federal court. There were twenty-two of these, The cases are divided into three classes, each in- volving different questions. The first is represented by the case against Peter Bechtele, which has already been argued, and on which & deciaion is expected to be given to-day. This class of cases in- cludes the hotels, which have a bar in connection with the other business. Another class includes those saloon men who own the buildings in which they are doing business. The third cl consists of those who lease the }\rrmmv occupied by them, and the relation of landlord and tenant is involved. Different questions are raised, and it will be some time before arguments can te made and decisions r-"u-fi din these cases, To-day the following cases will be dis- posed of on motions now pending: Nos. 4,407, 4,637, 4858, 4,798 4,787, 4807, 4.812, 4,814, The following cases are_to be decided as to demurrers: Nos. 4,603, 4,721, No. 855 in probate is to be called up. This term of the court will close to- day. The new term will open on Tues- day next. —— Notice of Notice is hereb n to all whom it may concern t the copartnership heretofore n:«nng under the firm name and style of Snyder & Leaman has this day ln sen dissolved by mutual eonsent, N.
