In the distriet court yesterday the case of Groneweg & Shoentgen ve Kusworm was on trial and occupied the entire day. The case is a peenliar one. It appears that a man named Sweitzer, who tra eled for Kusworm, selling goods, needing some money for expenses, ete., drew on Kusworm and Groneweg & Shoenigen cashed it for him. On another trip here he got the sume firm to cash another draft on Kusworm for a like purpose. These drafts were honored by Knsworm. A third time the traveling man got a like favor, and to the surprise of Groneweg & Shoentgen this draft came back dishon- ored, Kusworm claiming that the tra ing man was no longer in his empl that he had settled withh him several days bef and there was nothing due him. Groneweg & Shoentgen now sue - Wi claiming that by their previous lmnul'm" of drafts drawn by the travel- ing man he virtually endorsed him as an nt anthorized to draw on them, and at he must and by the draft.
