The whole speculative list was firm and prices were a shade better. Trading in wheat was left entirely to sealpers, who extracted what amusement and profit they could within e limits, June wheat closed yesterday at Sc, ovened this morning at f0'e, fell away to W@Te, advanced to $0%c, sold down to 0c, and llstlessly swung between %0¢ and 80l4¢ for the last two hours of the long ses- sion, there being protiacted waits between changes, ‘There was no pressure to buy or sell, but whe the market got down to #0c a disposition to buy manifested itself,and at 801Ny e some praperty came ont.
