All day loog the largs crowd of the previous day was aug mented by a multitude pouring into the city, many of whom were compelled to walk the streets until late at night in search of a place upon which to rest their weary bodies. The hotels are crowded, the hallways and many of the rooma belug filied with cots, but for all that, anyone who starts out dilizently and in time can eecuro o place toslesp at some one of the wany boarding places in tue city at rea- sonable prices. As indicated yesterday, very much wis ac- complished during the duy in completing the many pro;arstions snd in placing in order the mauy exhibits in the halls. This morning finds the finishing work being done.
