Dancing was kept up until midnight, when an enjoyable repast was served, Every one left, having had a good time, and wishing the Heafoy brothers success in their new home. —Sunday s number of small children wero playing with a human skull, near the corner of Thirteenth and Davenport streets, ‘When questioned by » passer-by as to how they had came into possession of the ghostly toy they sald that they had “found it an alley.” The top of the skull had been sawed off, and 1t was evidently once the possession of some medical institute. —George Linde, who lives on the Biendorff farm fifteen miles morthwest of the city, re- ports that his place was quite severely visited by the storm Sunday morning. A TUSSLE WirdH A TOUGH, James Lee Arrested After a Hard Fight Sunday.| James Lee, one of the dangerous young criminals who infest the vicinity of Crelghton college, was arrested by the police Sunday and lodged In jall, after a terrible tussle. 1t soems that Lee came wup behind Specvial Policoman James and wi thout rovocation hit him on the back of his snd with a “billy,” disabling him. James immediately telephoned to polloe headquarters for asslstance. A police- man was dispatched to the scene of the trouble, but before he arrlved Lee was gone and could not be found. Later, a warrant was sworn out for Leoo’s arrest, and placed in the hands of Officer Oormick for service, Officer Rowles accompanied him, and the two together went to the house of the Lee family where they found the young belligerent hiding in the collar, A tough tussle ensued, bsfore the two officers succeeded in arresting Lee. He bit Rowles severely on the hand, and in- jured him eo otherwise that that officer was compelled to use hls club vigorously. Finally he was taken and placed ina wagon and lodged in g’ml.
