He spoke at length on general principles and In praise of the gontleman whoss name ho then submitted to the conventlon. Upon the mentlon cf Murphy's name the delegates responded with cheers and enthuslastic apptause, Mr. Murphy was nominated by acclamation. AN OUTLAW ABROAD, Soon after the oclosing of court this afteraoon some excltement was created by the dizcovery that an unknown man of some cowboy appearance, was passing himself through this county from near York to Silver COreek, in a strange way. Riding a jaded horse, he pulls his re- volver and orders the rider or driver of a fresher beast to dismount and trade horses, as he must have a fresh horee to save his tife.
