There was a meeting yesterday at Bech- telo’s hotel, of members of the democrat- fc committee of this jadicial district, to take action In regard to the declared elec- tion of Judge Loofbourow to the district bench, and the defeat of the democratic candidate, Judge E. E. Aylesworth. There were present at this conference Judge Comfort, ot Crawford county, who served as chairman in the absence of Geo. A Holmes, of this city, the regualar cheirman; Col J. H Koatly, who ssrved as secretary; T. W. Ivory, of Glenwood; A. B. Keith, of Denison; Eli Babeock, of Avoca; Mr. Jones, of Cans county. nnd Mayor Vaughan, The following resolutions were pre- sented by Col. Keatloy and unanimously adopted: Whereas, Hon, E E, Aylesworth, of Council Bluffs, was placed in nomiration by the democracy and the greenbackers, by fusion, for the position of district judge of the Thirtcenth judical district of Iowa, for the term commencing on the 1at of January, 1885, and the Hon. C. F.
