The fellow who was driving had hired the horse and buggy of George Wisner, and was 80 drunk that in turning the corner ho struck the lamp post and the buggy was tippod over and the horse went down. The buggy top was badly smashed, The drunken driver stood and looked at others clear up the wreck, and although Officer Dunn stood on the cor. ner no arrest was made, and the fellow staggored off. Soon after Officer Brooks appeared and arrested the other fellow who was in the buggy at the time of the accident. Mike Kildare, who was wanted for an assault upon some girl.
